By default, Chronicle copies receipts to the Chronicle3 Receipt subfolder when attaching them. If you change the database location after attaching receipts, however, they may not open properly when you click the <i>View Receipt</i> button, as the path to the receipt will still be set to the original database location.

To fix this, simply edit the payment, and relink the attachment to it's current location (attachments are stored in the Receipts subfolder of the Chronicle3 folder, and are sorted in subfolders by Bill Name and date attached).

If you have changed Chronicle's preferences in order to make aliases to receipts instead of copying them, then the receipts will not be synchronized across computers.
